Our #musicaldaycareadventure ended with this. Which made me feel so happy and so sad and so imbetween. If you haven’t watched the docu YOUNG @ HEART please do. It is joy.
Tragedy hit our elementary school hard this week. Without haunting you all with the details. Ramona’s school lost a student this week.
Needless to say I just had the most intense conversation with Ramona ever.
Ramona: Mom. My heart is going slow for that little girl. This is a sad sad thing.
Me: Yes. My heart is going slow as well. I am very very sad. What are your feelings?
Ramona: I am worried. I am wondering if she is okay. What are your feelings.
Me: I am sad. I am sad for the family and worried about the Mommy.
Ramona: Yes. Okay. Now I have a really interesting and important question.
Me: Okay. Tell me about that. -palms sweating-
Ramona: How do people make paint?
Me: Ah. Well. I think they use alot of chemicals. For commercial paint. I know that you can make dyes and paints out of nature. Which is interesting.
Ramona: That is interesting.
Ramona: So. What we learned is Little Girls can die before their Mommies.
Me: Yes. I guess they can.
